Conventional vs. BENE SECURON and BENE ACTRON
In direct comparison with BENE high-performance separators, conventional separator systems have several weaknesses that affect safety and operation. The results are high maintenance costs and high renovation expenses.
Innovative BENE high-performance separators offer the ideal solution to overcome the weaknesses of these conventional separator systems, whereby expenses may be saved.
Weaknesses of conventional separators include
Weakness A
One of the most frequent faults in conventional separator systems is damage to the coating. From nicks caused by objects
to blister formation and large-scale separation,
the types of damage in this case are diverse. The cost of restoring a damaged coating is enormous. Besides the pure labour costs,
high costs also result due to the corresponding outage of operations.
Weakness B
Due to oil and fine sludge, coalescence filters clog relatively quickly. In this case, regular filter maintenance is prescribed and also necessary. These maintenance processes frequently require a partial disposal of the basin contents, in which case running operations Need to be interrupted and high maintenance and disposal costs result.
BENE high-performance separator solutions
Solution A
The solution to this weakness is provided by the HDPE in-liner, a special form of plastic covering. With its maximum chemical and mechanical resistance, it guarantees the operator a coating system that will remain intact for many years. Anchor studs are used to connect the HDPE in-liner flush with the concrete, which ensures a secure seal. Using extrusion welding, individual HDPE panels are made secure and joined together tightly. This bypasses cost-intensive and expensive renovations involving the interior coating.
Solution B
BENE high-performance separators (e.g., BENE SECURON, BENE ACTRON) feature the innovative hydro-dynamic coalescence system BENE V-SYS, which omits conventional filters that are subject to congestion. Of course, their cleaning and maintenance are also omitted, as are disposal costs.
